About The Coaching Mindset
The Coaching Mindset was created to explore how people can learn more deliberately from experience.
Its central idea is simple:
Experience creates opportunities for learning, but expertise develops when experience is examined, connected and applied.
The Coaching Mindset brings together work across education, curriculum, coaching, leadership and reflective practice.
At the centre of this work is the NACA Model: Notice, Analyse, Connect and Apply.

About Me
I am an educator, sports programme lead, coach and reflective practice specialist. My work sits across education, sports coaching, mentoring and leadership development. Through The Coaching Mindset, I support individuals, teams and organisations to develop more structured, reflective and adaptive practice.
Why The Coaching Mindset Exists
The Coaching Mindset was built from a belief that experience should not be wasted. Whether in a classroom, coaching session, leadership role or mentoring conversation, every experience has the potential to create learning. The challenge is knowing how to capture it, understand it and apply it.
The Mission
To help people turn experience into expertise through structured reflection.
The Vision
To make reflective practice more practical, accessible and impactful across education, coaching, mentoring and leadership.
Working With The Best
The Coaching Mindset has overseen the academic development of many athletes in such a short space of time
